RACHEL BENNETT // Certificate IV Dance Teaching and Management // Certified module 1 and 2 Acrobatic Arts Teacher

Miss Rachel has been teaching dance and acrobatics for the last 16 years. She has been training in dance, acrobatics and musical theatre for 27 years, starting when she was 6 years old.

Rachel attended the Hunter school of Performing arts for high school and participated in Starstruck, the musical ‘Little shop of Horrors’ and the 2000 Olympic opening and closing ceremonies.

 

When training for exams through Ballet Australasia Limited, Rachel gained honours (highest mark possible) for all of her Tap and Jazz examinations. She also completed ballet exams with an average mark of the second highest mark, highly commended.

 

Rachel has competed in and also had her students compete in both local and national competitions throughout the last 16 years. In 2016 the Powerhouse Dance team traveled to Queensland and received outstanding results at Showcase National Championships.

 

Rachel has completed her dance teaching and management certificate IV and is a certified module one and two Acrobatic Arts teacher.

 

Miss Rachel has a passion for teaching dance and Acro and wants to pass her knowledge and skills on to her students in a welcoming and safe environment.
